ANTH 101 - Williams: Introduction

This Research Guide will help you find resources about world cultures and the countries they inhabit.

Introduction to Finding Information about World Cultures

This Research Guide will help you find information to complete the essay assignment for this class (see attached document).

** Note that we cannot easily get to our physical collection at the moment, and that will likely impact your choice of topic. We have many books on the Paiutes in the library, but few good ones in our digital collections, for example. I will try to help you find the materials you need, and have recorded video tutorials on using several of our databases.

Of course, there is a lot of other good information to be found in the databases that may help you in other classes. To see the full collection of Library Research Guides available to you, see the TMCC Research Guides page.

To find statistics on countries of the world that may help in your essay, please see the Statistics Sources Research Guide.

Contact the library Reference Desk at 674-7602 if you need help or see the librarian contact information in the right-hand column. And don't forget to contact your instructor Amanda Williams with class-related questions.
