The databases listed in this Research Guide are available only to Truckee Meadows Community College students, faculty and staff. You will need your TMCC credentials (Username and Password) to access them off-campus.

Reference and Overview Sources

• CQ Researcher - offers overviews of hundreds of political and social topics.
• Gale Virtual Reference Library - under the Law subject are encyclopedias covering the Constitution and and Supreme Court of the United States.
• Issues & Controversies - offers overviews of hundreds of political and social topics.
• Opposing Viewpoints Reference Center - offers overviews of hundreds of political and social topics, plus some journal articles and other materials.

Journal and Periodical Sources

• ABI/Inform - this database has thousands of journals and law reviews.
