Economics: Books and eBooks

This Guide contains basic economics resources in the library, in library databases and on outside Websites.

OER Economics Resources

The following books and resources are some of the excellent open educational resources (meaning free) which you might be able to use as supplemental reading for your economics class.

Books in the Library

Economics books are mostly shelved in the following Library of Congress call number areas:

  • HB: Economics
  • JC: Marxian and alternative economic systems (such as communism, socialism, etc.)

Search the library catalog for specific titles or topics with the Library Catalog scope or try the Advanced Search option to perform more specific searches.

eBook Collections

The library has two eBook collections which have more than 20,000 economics titles available.  The databases listed in this Research Guide are available only to Truckee Meadows Community College students, faculty and staff.
