Be sure to assign a Guide Type to all of your Guides. This is helpful so that the system properly presents the Guides in the public interface:
- General Purpose - use for Guides that do not fit in the other categories (such as Archives)
- Course - Guide for a specific class or assignment. Please name the Guide using the class code followed by the instructor's last name (as in ANTH 201 - Williams)
- Subject - Guide about a subject area (business, geography, etc.)
- Topic - Guides covering general topics (Student Employee Orientation)
- Internal - Guide for internal use, such as library statistics)
- Template - Not used at this time
