If you chose to search for articles through Google or Google Scholar and hit a paywall, Do not pay! At this point in your career you should not have to pay for research materials. If you find an article that you really want, but you cannot find it through the TMCC library system, you can either submit an Interlibrary Loan Request or you e-mail a librarian for help.
If you have found an article through the TMCC library, but have problems getting to it, e-mail a librarian and we will help you get to the item you need.
If you have searched the TMCC databases and are not finding any resources that meet your needs, make an appointment with a librarian and we will help you format your search, refine your keywords, or go beyond what the TMCC library has.
If you are having problems finding resources in the TMCC databases and are sure that you have used all possible keywords, consider searching the UNR library catalog. If you find titles through the UNR catalog that you are interested in, fill out an Interlibrary Loan Request or e-mail a librarian and we will get the requested item for you.
If you find a physical book on your research topic, but you don't want to carry the book home or you need to share it with a fellow student, the library has two overhead scanners that you can use to scan parts of the book.
